We are seeking a skilled High Rate Pressure Operator to join our team.
The High-Rate Pressure Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various high pressure pumping systems. The batching and hauling of various chemicals for the petroleum energy sector. The operator is also responsible for loading, haul and blending fluids, the completion of or signing on to the project tailgate as well as completing a field level hazard assessment (FLHA) for the activities and tasks he will complete on the project. the setup of the site or “rigging in” of the pumping equipment and pumping those fluids through all stages of the operation as well as various other duties as assigned. When completed the project, the operator will “rig out” the equipment, complete necessary documentation and submit to the office for processing. The incumbent creates a positive work environment, builds employee morale, supports and maintains a safe working environment at all times.
Responsibilities
· Ensures compliance with corporate policies and programs pertaining to health & safety, environment, quality, code of conduct and scope of work.
· Holds or attends daily tailgate meetings, completes hazard assessments, and maintains a safe working environment.
· Operate high-rate pressure pump systems
· Ensures production is efficient, and to specifications.
· Coordinate repair and maintenance of all equipment and communicates with Operations Manager.
· Maintains a high standard of workmanship and professionalism. Pre-Planning work execution strategy and methods for optimal production.
· Adjusting work execution strategy and methods where needed during course of project.
· Preparing and having all Field Project Documentation requirements available on site
· Tracks infield production daily and complete LEM daily
· Maintain positive communications and build repour with client in field on day-to-day basis.
· Daily reporting and updates for projects to Project Manager.
· Equipment and Truck Maintenance.
· Communicate with Operations and HS&E Manager, all safety infractions, and any complaints as they arise.
· Daily completion of pre-and post-operation checklists for the equipment, and maintenance as required.
· Making sure that all running equipment is maintained.
· Provide after-hours on-call services on a rotation basis and have the availability to provide overtime support after hours and on weekends during emergent situations.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour
Experience:
- Pressure Pumping systems: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 3 or class 1 Licence (required)
