Finishing Dozer and Grader Operators
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Able to operate a Dozer and/ or Grader in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspect equipment, fluids, lights, and brakes to ensure equipment is fully functional and safe for operating.
- Able to identify hazards on sites and complete JSA’s and hazard analysis.
- Knowledge of smooth operation of machine controls
- Knowledge of proper loading / dumping procedures
- Ability to operate 2-way radio
Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 years of experience operating Dozers or Graders
- Experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the heavy construction, road and lease building and mountainous terrain is required.
- Must have (or be willing and able to obtain) CSTS 09 or CSTS 2020, Standard First Aid Level C, and Ground Disturbance Level 2 or equivalent.
- Required to work outside under all weather conditions and handle noise and vibrations.
- Must have own Safety boots -Requirement is 8" lace up steel toed (CSA Approved).
- All equipment operators will be expected to assist with labor activities as the job demands. Seat time will vary depending on the job scope.
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work up to 12 hours a day.
- Alcohol, Drug and fit to work testing is a pre-employment requirement..
Rate range: Up to $40.00/hour and LOA

Pay: $37.00-$40.00 per hour
