About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Janitorial Cleaner to join our team and play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and guests.
The successful candidate will take pride in their work and be responsible for ensuring our residential building, common areas, and resident amenities are maintained to a high standard. This role requires someone who is dependable, takes initiative, has strong attention to detail, and understands the importance of creating a positive living experience for residents.
Responsibilities:
● Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of residential building common areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, mailroom areas, and garbage/recycling rooms.
● Maintain cleanliness and presentation of resident amenities, including fitness rooms, lounges, party rooms, and other shared spaces.
● Complete routine cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
● Clean and maintain washrooms, ensuring supplies are stocked and areas are kept neat and sanitary.
● Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property, including entrances and other shared areas.
● Monitor and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damages, or building deficiencies to management.
● Assist with move-in/move-out cleaning and additional cleaning projects as required.
● Provide professional, friendly, and respectful service when interacting with residents, visitors, and building staff.
● Follow proper cleaning procedures and safe handling practices for cleaning products and equipment.
Qualifications:
● Previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or residential building cleaning is preferred.
● Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean and well-presented property.
● Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
● Positive attitude with strong communication and customer service skills.
● Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
● Professional and respectful approach when working in a resident-focused environment.
● Ability to safely use cleaning supplies and equipment.
