Job title: Bilingual Operations Officer III
Duration: July 20/26 to March 12/27
Hours: Mon-Fri, 9 AM to 5 PM, 10 AM to 6 PM, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, 8 AM to 4 PM (Candidate must be flexible to work any shift)
Location: Hybrid Mississauga L4W 5P3; 4 days onsite, one day remote
Pay Rate: $32.00/hour
Role Overview As a Bilingual Operations Officer III, you’ll be responsible for handling requests related to AML, including confirming clients’ personal information, conducting KYC checks, and performing thorough validations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves accurately documenting and reporting findings, as well as maintaining clear, professional business communication when interacting with clients. Additionally, you coordinate closely with the AML and Compliance teams to ensure all processes align with internal policies.

Your Day-to-Day:
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
- Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities: handling requests related to AML, including confirming clients’ personal information.
- Conducting KYC checks, and performing thorough validations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Documenting and reporting findings, as well as maintaining clear, professional business communication when interacting with clients.
- How much time is being spent in meetings; 30 min daily.
- Who are they interacting with (internal/external): Both
- Back-office vs Telephone work: Both (90% on phone)
What Makes You a Great Fit:
MUST HAVE Hard Skills:
1.) Fully bilingual in English and French- written and verbal
2.) 5 years of banking/financial experience is required
3.) 4 years of collections experience / call center experience
4.) Prior Know Your Client (KYC) experience
5.) Microsoft 365 proficiency- Excel, Outlook, and Word
SOFT SKILLS:
1.) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2.) Collaboration skills
3.) Attention to detail and accuracy
4.) Strong customer service skills
NICE-TO-HAVE
1.) Prior TD experience
