Overview
We're looking for a friendly, organized, and self-motivated person to join us as our Customer Success & Marketing Coordinator. You'll be the human face of Membership Advantage — helping businesses get set up on our platform, supporting clubs and their members, and doing outreach to grow our merchant network.
This role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with people, is comfortable working independently from home, and wants the flexibility that comes with a contract position. If you have kids in school and need a schedule that works around your life — this might be a great fit.
This position includes business outreach and relationship building. Candidates should enjoy speaking with local business owners and helping them grow through Membership Advantage."
Duties
Marketing & Business Outreach
- Convert existing platform businesses to our new platform (approximately 116 accounts) — a great way to hit the ground running).
- Reach out and onboard approximately 125 new local businesses in the Comox Valley and surrounding area using provided marketing materials.
- Reach out nationally to onboard 150 brand partners onto the National Organizations Member Marketplace prior to launch.
- Represent Membership Advantage and support local organizations already on the platform.
Customer Service & Support
- Be the first point of contact for businesses, club members, and association partners via phone and email.
- Help businesses navigate the platform and make the most of their listing and offers.
- Support local clubs in spreading the word to their members and signing up area businesses.
- Coordinate with the technical team on platform issues — you'll enter tickets and receive resolved tickets and communicate outcomes back to clients.
- Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Experience in sales or related customer engagement roles is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive customer relationships
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $36,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
