Line Cook
Lorette Golf Course’s Nine and Dine clubhouse restaurant is open seasonally from Spring through Autumn. We cater for short-order cooking as well as hosting large Tournaments/Banquets throughout the season. We are currently seeking a Line cooks to join our existing team and provide quality food for our patrons and guests. These roles are seasonal between (May 2026– October 2026)
Line Cook’s Working Hours:
25-30 hours per week (day/evenings/ weekend work). We are flexible to work around other jobs
Also there are part-time opportunities available between 15-20 hours a week
Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to
- Short Order Cooking
- Prepare & cook food for medium-large banquet-style functions
- Daily food preparation & re-stocking
- Creation & execution of daily food specials
- Maintaining a clean workspace
- Assisting other departments & staff as required
- Abilities, Skills and Requirements – Line Cook
- Experience with Short-Order Cooking
- Able to deliver a consistent product on a daily basis, based on standards set by the golf course
- Knowledge in portion control and monitoring/minimizing food waste
- Creativity & Ability to cook foods from scratch (Specials, Menu Items, Soups, etc.)
- Food Handling Certification (or willing to get it)
- Serving It Safe Certificate (or willing to get)
- Willing to take on a variety of responsibilities and able to work effectively
- Own reliable transportation (located outside of the city, no public transportation available)
- Responsible, reliable, honest and committed to being your best every day.
Wage : Negotiable, dependent on experience
Gratuities available on each shift.
