We are recruiting Summer Field Harvest Workers for a seasonal outdoor opportunity in Saskatoon, SK. This role is ideal for dependable candidates who enjoy hands-on work, fresh air, and contributing to agricultural field operations during the summer harvest season.
As a Summer Field Harvest Worker, you will support field plot maintenance, pollination cage setup, seed crop harvesting, and seed sample preparation. This is a great opportunity to gain practical agriculture, production, and field operations experience in a supportive team environment with clear daily direction, consistent weekday hours, and opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Weed and maintain field plots with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Set up, monitor, and manage pollination cages in field environments.
- Hand harvest seed crops according to field and production requirements.
- Clean, sort, and prepare seed samples for further handling or processing.
- Follow field safety practices and complete tasks in changing outdoor weather conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the field team to meet seasonal harvest timelines.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.50 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Seasonal assignment: August to September 2026.
- Location: Saskatoon, SK, S7S 0A6.
