Job Description:
Best Brains, West Pickering is looking for part-time Coding teacher who have experience in coding (Scratch, Python and Web Development) to teach the students ages of 6-14. No lesson planning is required.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or College diploma.
- Coding: Experience teaching Scratch, Python, Web Development.
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Patience and ability to engage young learners
- Available in person to teach
- Consideration given to candidates enrolled in an education program.
- Experience working with children in any educational settings
- Pass a police clearance/vulnerability sector check
Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging and interactive lessons in Coding.
- Track student progress and provide feedback to parents/center Director.
- Attend teacher meetings as required.
- Arrive 10mins prior to the class
Availability
- Wednesdays 5:00pm to 8:00pm
- Thursdays 5:00pm to 8:00pm
- Saturdays 10:00am to 1:00pm
