Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Red Seal Automotive Journeyman (310S) to join our team. This role involves performing advanced automotive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, excellent mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment. This position offers the opportunity to utilize a wide range of skills including welding, schematics interpretation, and assembly, contributing to delivering exceptional customer service and vehicle quality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models using advanced tools and equipment
- Perform mechanical repairs including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and modifications
- Interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to accurately diagnose issues
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly during repair processes
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and professionally
Requirements
- Valid Red Seal Automotive Journeyman (310S) certification
- Proven dealership experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with automotive maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting complex systems
- Good customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Mechanic experience with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $32.00-$50.00 per hour
