Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented commercial Whipper Snipper to join our team on a seasonal, part-time basis . This role involves maintaining and beautifying our golf course by performing precise trimming, edging, and landscaping tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience performing the same work in commercial outdoor environments; possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to delivering high-quality results. Hours of work are 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Monday to Friday.
Duties
- Operate commercial-grade whipper snippers to trim grass, weeds, and overgrown vegetation around the course
- Maintain a safe, clean work area by properly disposing of debris and ensuring equipment is stored correctly
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project deadlines are met
- Follow safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Prior, significant whipper snipping experience is essential
- Ability to operate a whipper snipper, change the cord, fill fluids, troubleshoot, etc.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated schedules
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- A proactive attitude with a focus on quality workmanship
Pay: $30.00 per hour
