Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently. The HVAC Technician will ensure optimal operation of HVAC equipment, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
- Troubleshoot issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes of system failures.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as condensate drain lines or refrigerant piping.
- Utilize welding skills when necessary for repairs or modifications of ductwork or metal components.
- Work with boilers and other mechanical equipment as part of comprehensive maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems.
- Maintain detailed records of service performed and parts used for each job.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all service activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience with HVAC systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, welding, boilers, appliances, and construction processes.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Prior experience as a mechanic or in appliance repair is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures relevant to HVAC work environments.
- Relevant certifications or licenses such as EPA certification or HVAC technician license are preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings requiring mechanical expertise.

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
