Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Overnight Commercial Cleaner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are trustworthy, reliable, consistent, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently during overnight hours. We are looking for someone that is able to follow instructions and routines.
The position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across commercial facilities to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff. Flexibility to work overnight shifts and a commitment to quality cleaning are essential for success in this role.
Duties
- General commercial cleaning (tasks include vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, restocking supplies, washrooms if applicable).
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure high standards of sanitation
- Following a simple checklist each visit
- Maintaining consistent quality standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduling requirements to ensure all assigned areas are serviced efficiently during overnight hours
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning, especially commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance, is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is advantageous
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks related to facility upkeep is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks during shifts
- Reliable transportation or access to the work site during overnight hours is necessary
