Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Services Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming experience. This role involves managing guest inquiries, handling reservations, and maintaining smooth front desk operations to support overall guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, take reservations, and provide information
- Handle guest requests efficiently, resolving issues promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations in the hotel management system
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest stay
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and ensure room readiness
- Uphold professional phone etiquette and uphold the hotel's standards of hospitality at all times
- Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, processing payments, and updating guest records
Skills
- Multilingual or Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Strong phone etiquette and experience with multi-line phone systems
- Previous front desk or hotel experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of guest services operations within the hospitality industry
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
