Job Overview
Matrix HR is hiring Journeyperson and Apprentice Electricians for an upcoming commercial new-build project in Lethbridge, AB (local candidates only). This is a great opportunity to join a professional crew on a significant local development, with steady work available throughout the summer.
Start Date: 11th May 2026
Pay Rate :
- Journeyperson: $42.26/hr.
- Apprentice: $21.13/hr. - $33.80/hr.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of electrical systems in commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Cable pulling, conduit installation, and basic wiring
- Support journeymen electricians on-site
- Perform basic electrical testing
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician ticket or Apprentice status
- Fall Protection certification
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification
- WHMIS 2025 certification
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work at heights
- Committed to high safety standards on site
- Strong work ethic and reliability
