Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and disassembly of vehicle components.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify necessary repairs.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for vehicle repairs or modifications.
- Assist customers by providing exceptional service, addressing their concerns, and explaining repair processes clearly.
- Lift heavy components safely as part of the repair process while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in an automotive industry.
- Previous experience in a dealership setting is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction during service interactions.
