Haven Lobby Bar is seeking an experienced and service-driven Bartender to join our team on a part-time or full-time permanent basis. Bartenders play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by delivering exceptional service in a welcoming and professional environment.
This position is responsible for providing prompt and friendly service, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining bar operations, and ensuring all liquor service is conducted in accordance with provincial regulations and hotel standards.

Prepare, mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar and restaurant guests

Follow all drink recipes, portioning standards, and service procedures

Provide outstanding guest service while maintaining a friendly and professional image

Build and maintain relationships with regular guests

Adapt to a variety of guest and team personalities to ensure smooth operations

Ensure all drinks and services are entered and charged correctly through the POS system

Maintain cost and portion controls to meet operational goals

Keep all bar surfaces, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized

Ensure drink service times meet established standards

Assist with table service as required

Assist with ordering and maintaining fresh bar inventory

Comply with all federal, provincial, and municipal regulations related to liquor service, health, and safety

Support teammates during busy periods and assist with workload as needed

Perform additional operational or administrative duties as assigned

Minimum 1 year of bartending or cocktail bar experience

Strong English communication and interpersonal skills

Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures

Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system

Valid Alberta ProServe certification
- Ability to remain professional and composed in fast-paced or high-pressure situations

Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)

Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages safely

Must be 18 years of age or older
