Order Picker / Warehouse Associate
Location: St. John, NB
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $19.00/hour
Start Date: Immediate
Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable Order Picker / Warehouse Associate to join our team in St. John. In this role, you will prepare customer orders, process shipments, handle incoming inventory, and support daily warehouse operations while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare customer orders using invoices and pick lists.
- Apply brand labels to automotive batteries.
- Wrap and label pallets with quantity and weight.
- Use handheld scanners and WMS / NetSuite to process orders.
- Load, unload, receive, and put away inventory.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory counts, and general warehouse duties.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (asset).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is an asset.
- Comfortable using handheld scanners and WMS/NetSuite.
- Forklift experience or certification is a strong asset.
- Steel-toed safety boots required.
- Ability to pass a background check and provide a driver's abstract (if required).
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 30 lbs independently and 60 lbs with assistance.
- Able to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
