Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Seasonal Laborer to join our construction team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction projects, including paving and heavy equipment operation. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to various outdoor projects during the seasonal period. Prior construction experience is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate. This role is essential in supporting our team to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Assist with paving, grading, and site preparation activities
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, or compactors (training provided)
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Support the installation of infrastructure components under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety standards are met
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures throughout daily tasks
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or paving is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety and detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
