Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development within the K - 12 school system. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives through evidence-based practices and a collaborative approach.
Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in school or clinical psychology is essential
- Must hold a valid Provisional or Permanent School Clinician Certificate, or be willing to apply through Manitoba Professional Certification Unit
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
- Previous experience working with students who have challenges in academic and social emotional learning an asset
- Training and experience in Violence Threat Risk Assessment an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively with school personnel, parents, and other student services clinicians to provide a comprehensive range of psychological services within the school community, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, consultation, prevention, and practical implementation of recommendations in the classroom
- Ability to interpret, monitor, and evaluate recommendations from other clinicians and provide ongoing support and consultation to personnel working with students, other relevant agencies and stakeholders
- Excellent technology skills required in order to complete online recording and reporting requirements
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Time Employed: September 8, 2026 to June 30, 2027
Pay: $70,379.00-$124,513.00 per year
