We’re offering a sandblasting position in a fast-paced industrial coating environment. A minimum of one year of prior experience is required. Ideal candidates will have a strong focus on safety, be organized, open to feedback, possess a strong work ethic, and be eager to learn. Good communication skills are also essential for success in this role.
Sandblasters have ample growth opportunities, with training available in WHMIS, Fall Zone Protection, Blast Levels, different metals and abrasives, First Aid, and Forklift Certificate.
All Powder Coating teachings and industrial training will be done in house.
Starting Wage: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour / based on experience.

Schedule:
- 5/ 8-hour shifts - Monday to Friday (Days)
- 3/ 12-hour shifts – Friday to Sunday (Weekends)
Sandblaster Tasks and Responsibilities
- Familiarizing yourself with and adhering to the Employee Handbook policies and procedures
- Ensuring workspaces are kept clean and that paperwork is submitted on time
- Communicating quality concerns, incidents, and other issues to Team Leads
- Following the work schedule and directions, understanding which tasks take priority at any given time
- Loading and filling shot, as well as using the forklift to move jobs to the appropriate booth.
Equipment Used by a Sandblaster
- Safety glasses, ear protection, work boots
- Knife, pliers
- Off oven, steel shot, ceramic shot
- Forklift
- Blast suit, blast hose (120 psi)
- Other personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
