Leasing Concierge, The Hawthorne
Earning Potential* $70,000 - $75,000 / year
*$55,000 / year base salary plus monthly bonuses

We are seeking an experienced Leasing Concierge who will be responsible for delivering an exceptional leasing experience from a prospect's first inquiry through move-in while fostering long-term resident satisfaction and retention. This role combines leasing, customer service, and administrative coordination to maximize occupancy and achieve leasing goals. The Leasing Concierge reports directly to the Vice President of Development and serves as an ambassador for the property, consistently representing the community with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional resident experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety & Compliance
- Comply with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures within the workplace and when conducting tours of unfinished suites.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA).
Attendance & Professionalism
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance during scheduled work hours.
- Be open to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special leasing events on a need basis during peek leasing season.
- Present a professional appearance and uphold the company's standards for dress, conduct, and customer service.
Customer Experience
- Minimum of 2 years Customer Service or Sales experience working with clients in a front-facing setting.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents through every interaction.
- Build positive relationships by responding to inquiries promptly, professionally, and courteously.
- Book tours promptly, creating urgency to lease units.
Communication & Team Collaboration
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with residents, prospects, colleagues, and management.
- Participate in team meetings, provide updates on leasing activity, and contribute to the continuous improvement of leasing operations.
- Collaborate with Property Management and Maintenance teams to ensure a seamless resident experience.
Administrative & Technical Responsibilities
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, Ontario Standard Lease Agreement and any other applicable forms (N1, N4, N9, N8, N11).
- Maintain accurate prospect, leasing, and resident records, as well as data entry, and document management as required.
- Prepare lease documentation accurately and ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and company policies prior to submission.
Computer Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Experience with the following platforms is considered a strong asset:
- Yardi
- Building Stack
- RentCafe
- RentSync
- CRM and property management software
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and conduct multiple property tours throughout the day.
- Ability to travel between multiple property locations when required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Leasing Concierge is responsible for the following day-to-day duties:
- Respond to all leasing inquiries received through phone, email, online platforms, referrals, and walk-in traffic in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct property, model suite, and available suite tours, highlighting the features, amenities, and benefits of the community while maintaining strong closing ratios.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the property's suite types, pricing, amenities, and neighbouring competition to effectively close available units.
- Process rental applications, prepare lease agreements and related documentation in accordance with company policies and the Residential Tenancies Act.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect activity, applications, leases, move-ins, and resident communications within the property's CRM and management systems.
- Coordinate the move-in process and ensure suites are ready for occupancy.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Development or Corporate Leadership.
