We are looking for an Assistant Manager for our Market Mall location in Calgary, Alberta. This position offers a range of 24-32 hours a week. Availability for most weekends is required, with some flexibility during weekdays.
We require someone with a minimum of 2 years in the retail industry with sales experience and leadership qualities, and/or previous Assistant Management experience. Following training, assistant managers and staff will be required to work alone on shift during most opening and closing hours.
Other key responsibilities are the motivation to create beautiful visual displays, and they'll be dedicated to our Culture Craze customers by maintaining genuine and helpful interactions. Culture Craze provides customers with high-quality body jewelry and prides itself on knowledgeable team members who are passionate about the body modification industry! As an assistant manager you'll be expected to maintain those standards and create a positive environment where our customers feel comfortable and enthusiastic to shop with us. Body jewellery experience will be considered an asset.
Duties include managing all in-store operations such as:
- Sales through enthusiastic and dedicated customer service
- Learning brand knowledge for our body jewellery and accessories
- Inventory and stock reporting - use of excel and/or Google Sheets required
- Receiving orders - reporting errors, steaming clothing
- Merchandising - refilling sold merchandise, creating displays
- Assist coaching high performing store team
- Packaging online orders - checking item details and quantities
- Bank deposits
