Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of overnight front desk activities, maintaining guest satisfaction, and securing accurate financial records. Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing accounts and preparing financial reports
- Greet guests arriving during overnight hours with professionalism and courtesy
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints via phone or in person with exceptional customer service skills
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and providing information as needed
- Maintain accurate records of guest reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and billing information
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked for overnight operations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting as required
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction during overnight shifts
Skills
- Multilingual or Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse guest population
- Strong phone etiquette and excellent communication skills are essential for effective guest interactions
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality is preferred
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest service protocols enhances efficiency in this role
- Demonstrated ability to handle guest concerns professionally while maintaining composure during busy or stressful situations
- Attention to detail for accurate financial recordkeeping and reporting
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while ensuring high standards of service and security
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
