Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth office operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Experience with dental software such as TRACKER , as well as familiarity with this software, will be highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, utilizing your skills in dental assisting and medical terminology to make a positive impact on patients' oral health.
Working Hours:
Monday 9am- 5pm
Tuesday 10am-7pm8
Wed 9am-7pm
Thursday 9am-5pm
Friday 10am- 2pm
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs using technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using TRACKER software systems
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Ensure patient comfort and address any questions or concerns during visits
- Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and treatments performed
- Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety standards
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software such as TRACKER for record management
- Experience with Tracker, and Tracker X-Ray imaging systems is preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques, including sterilization and patient support procedures
- Familiarity with dental procedures involving orthodontic appliances and pediatric patients is a plus
- Certification or training in dental assisting is required!!
- Certification or training in HARP is required!!
