Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those in hospice or home care settings. This role requires a nurturing attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle a variety of caregiving responsibilities to enhance the quality of life for those in our care.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Document care provided and report any changes in condition to supervisors or healthcare providers
- Assist with activities that promote mental and physical well-being, including exercises or recreational activities
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care procedures, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Experience with medication administration and meal preparation is beneficial
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities are essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work flexible hours as needed

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
