Technical Digital Marketing Professional (Oracle Eloqua)
Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (Remote / Hybrid)
Contract Type: Contract (Corporation-to-Corporation)
Rate: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour (based on experience)
Security Clearance: Existing Government of Canada security clearance is considered a strong asset
Eligibility: Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident with a minimum of 5+ years residency in Canada
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Digital Marketing Professional with strong expertise in Oracle Eloqua, email marketing automation, audience segmentation, campaign execution, and responsive email development.
This role supports sophisticated B2B marketing initiatives within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will combine technical marketing skills with campaign strategy, stakeholder management, and hands-on execution.
Candidates should be available to attend the Ottawa office approximately 1-2 days per week to support collaboration activities when required.
Mandatory Qualifications: Digital Marketing & Marketing Automation
- Minimum 5 years of digital marketing experience
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an Email Marketing Specialist within a B2B marketing organization
- Extensive experience using Oracle Eloqua or comparable Marketing Automation/CRM platforms
Email Development & Landing Pages
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing responsive and accessible email templates and landing pages
- Strong technical proficiency with:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- JSON
- Experience optimizing email performance across multiple devices, browsers, and email clients
B2B Marketing & Compliance
- Minimum 3 years of experience with B2B marketing best practices
- Strong understanding of:
- CASL compliance
- Email operations
- Marketing governance
- Audience engagement strategies
Preferred Certification
- Oracle Eloqua Marketing Professional Certification
- OR
- Oracle Eloqua Marketing Implementation Professional Certification Key Evaluation Areas Oracle Eloqua Campaign & Automation Experience Candidates must provide detailed examples of campaigns and automated programs built and delivered using Oracle Eloqua, including:
- Multi-step workflows utilizing Program Builder and/or Campaign Canvas
- Newsletter campaigns
- Webinar campaigns
- Lead nurture campaigns
- Campaign scope, complexity, and measurable outcomes
Segmentation & Audience Targeting
Demonstrated experience creating sophisticated audience segmentation strategies using:
- Behavioral data
- Demographic and profile attributes
- Engagement metrics (opens, clicks, form submissions)
- Business requirements translated into audience logic
Email Development (HTML/CSS)
Provide examples of email templates developed or modified, demonstrating:
- Hands-on HTML/CSS coding experience
- Responsive design techniques
- Cross-client rendering compatibility
- Accessibility standards and best practices
Campaign Complexity & Asset Management
Describe complex campaigns involving multiple integrated assets, including:
- Emails
- Landing pages
- Forms
- Automated responses
- Workflow coordination across campaign components
Testing & Optimization
Experience conducting campaign testing and optimization through:
- A/B testing (subject lines, content, send times)
- Performance monitoring
- Analytics-driven decision making
- Continuous campaign improvement
Stakeholder Collaboration & Delivery
Demonstrated success working with multiple stakeholders, such as:
- Marketing teams
- Content teams
- Analytics teams
- Business partners
Must demonstrate:

Experience in Complex Organizations
