Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs for patients with various physical conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in both hospital and acute care settings.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to promote recovery and improve mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with medical standards.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
Requirements
- A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
- Experience or knowledge in pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven ability to provide high-quality patient care in hospital or acute care settings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes through effective rehabilitation strategies.
