Live Show Host & Sales Assistant (No Face Shown on Camera)
Sonatona Limited is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Live Show Host & Sales Assistant to join our growing online gemstone business.
You’ll assist with our live sales on Whatnot and eBay Live, helping showcase beautiful natural gemstones while creating an enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
No gemstone knowledge is required – full paid training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Host and assist with live online sales on Whatnot and eBay Live.
- Present and describe natural gemstones while interacting with customers during live streams.
- No face is shown on camera. Our live shows display close-up views of the gemstones and the host’s hands only.
- Help organize, prepare, and maintain inventory.
- Assist with weighing, labeling, and packing customer orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with other day-to-day business tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident speaking with customers.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, organized, and punctual.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Retail, sales, customer service, or live streaming experience is an asset, but not required.
- Interest in gemstones or jewellery is an asset, but not required.
Position Details
- Part-time contract position.
- Approximately 2–3 days per week (hours vary based on our live show schedule).
- Hourly pay: CA$17.60–CA$20.00, depending on experience.
- Flexible schedule.
- Casual dress.
- Paid training provided.
Work Environment
This position is based in our home workspace in North York. A friendly senior dog is present in the workspace, so applicants should be comfortable working around dogs.
