Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Waterproofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks, particularly in waterproofing applications. This role requires a strong understanding of building materials and methods, as well as the ability to read blueprints and follow specifications accurately. As a Waterproofer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that structures are protected from water damage, enhancing their durability and longevity.
Responsibilities
- Apply waterproofing materials to various surfaces, including walls, and foundations.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for restoration and installation tasks.
- Perform carpentry work as needed to prepare surfaces for waterproofing applications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or related fields, with a focus on waterproofing preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to the trade.
- Experience with mini-excavators and concrete drills
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to waterproofing practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with the role.
