Facility Operator II (Casual Position)
Purpose of the position
The position will (but not limited to):
-
Maintain facilities to ensure they are in a constant state of readiness for County users.

Operate and maintain of all mechanical equipment in facilities.

Help with custodial work, setting up and tearing down events, minor building repairs, and general grounds cleaning.

To be successful in this position, you will:

Grade 12 diploma
-
1 to 2 years of related work experience
-
Maintenance course Level I
-
Arena Operator I and Pool Operator I is considered an asset
-
Class 5 Driver's license
-
First Aid/CPR
-
Be able to work in a team environment, and be reliable to work alone,
-
Be well-developed in problem solving and public relations skills.

Hold strong customer service skills
-
Physical ability to lift, move, push, pull items 50 lbs +
-
Ability to operate equipment and perform manual labour

Position details

Wage: $29.15 to $40.69 hourly

Casual position - scheduled on an as needed basis and may include days, evenings, or weekends

Casual employees are eligible for an all access pass to the Bold Centre Multiplex and Pool

Work Environment: All County facilities
