Position Title: Part-Time Broker of Record Condominium Management (Managing Broker Broker / Mentor)
Location: Calgary, Alberta (Hybrid / Remote with local property visits as required)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate and/or commission-based compensation, depending on experience and responsibilities.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and licensed Property Management Real Estate Broker to provide mentorship, training, and operational support to a newly licensed Property Management Broker while assisting with the day-to-day management of a growing residential and condominium property portfolio.
This role is ideal for a seasoned property management professional who enjoys coaching others, sharing industry knowledge, and helping build efficient systems while continuing to work directly with clients, tenants, landlords, and condominium boards.
Key ResponsibilitiesMentorship & Training
- Provide one-on-one coaching and guidance to a newly licensed Property Management Broker.
- Assist with the development of property management procedures, policies, and best practices.
- Review property management files and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Share practical knowledge regarding tenant relations, landlord services, condominium management, and regulatory requirements.
- Support professional development and help build confidence in handling complex property management situations.
Business Development Support
- Assist in developing property management processes and operational efficiencies.
- Provide recommendations for portfolio growth and client retention.
- Support marketing and client relationship initiatives.
QualificationsRequired
- Active Alberta Real Estate License with Property Management authorization.
- Minimum 5 years of property management experience.
- Strong understanding of Alberta tenancy legislation and real estate regulations.
- Experience managing residential rental properties, condominium corporations, or both.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a developing team member.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Associate Broker or Employing Broker experience.
- Previous experience mentoring, supervising, or training property managers.
- Experience with condominium management and board governance.
- Knowledge of property management software platforms.
