Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the well-being and development of children in a safe and nurturing environment. This role involves engaging with children through various activities, ensuring their safety, and providing essential caregiving services. Duties
- Supervising children during playtime, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and engagement
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks, including meal planning and cooking as needed
- Assisting with daily routines such as diapering, dressing, and hygiene practices
- Creating age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and creativity
- Maintaining cleanliness of the childcare area through regular cleaning and organization
- Supporting children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
- Teaching basic skills such as sharing, cooperation, and communication
- Monitoring children's behavior and providing positive reinforcement to encourage good conduct
Skills
- Experience in caregiving or working with children in educational or childcare settings
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks, including meal planning and cooking skills
- Compassionate caregiving skills with a patient and nurturing demeanor
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities to ensure inclusive support
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic environment for children
- Ability to teach foundational skills in a fun and engaging manner
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Organizational skills to manage daily routines efficiently
