Our client is looking for a Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join their growing team in the Saanich, Victoria, and Westshore areas. As a key member of the team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth hauling operations while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities
- Operate end dumps and walking floor trucks to transport materials across Greater Victoria, Cowichan Valley, and the Gulf Islands.
- Follow assigned routes efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Use dispatching software on mobile devices to manage routes, track deliveries, and input real-time updates.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, WCB regulations, and DOT requirements to ensure a secure working environment.
- Complete incident, near-miss, and workplace illness reports as required.

Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with manual transmission training.
- Experience driving 53-foot trailers an asset.
- Familiarity with using mobile devices and dispatching software for route management.
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Able to handle long drives and occasional heavy lifting during loading/unloading.
- Availability to work Saturdays due to varying routes, with flexibility for weekday time off.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in trucking operations.
- Must provide a current BC driver’s abstract with your application.
