We are currently recruiting for the full time permanent position:
Administrative Support Passport Program
The Passport Program is funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services to provide opportunities for community participation and respite support for adults with developmental disabilities.
The Administrative Support (Passport Program) position is a member of the Extend-A-Family Kingston Administrative Support Team and reports directly to the Passport Program manager. This position will work from our office at 361 Montreal Street, performing tasks including word processing and maintaining records on computer spreadsheets and databases, handling incoming mail, telephone calls, and inquiries, devising office systems, maintaining filing systems, and liaising with external and internal stakeholders as identified by the Passport Manager and in compliance with Quality Assurance Measures (QAM) and Extend-A-Family Kingston’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
· To maintain all necessary documentation and records in agency files and databases.
· Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to work with minimum supervision and be a team player.
· Proficiency in the use of computers and MS Office Applications.
· Ability to adapt to an evolving environment.
· Demonstrate high accuracy and attention to detail in their daily work.
· Tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality are essential.
· Police Record Check - CPIC including Vulnerable Sector Screening.
· Proof of all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.

Hours of Work: 75 Hours over two weeks with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
