Job Summary
Come join the KS Millwork team! We're looking for an experienced millwork installer to join us in a fun, fast-paced environment. We offer a broad variety of custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and fine woodworking, and we're excited to add another member to our small team of skilled tradespeople.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
· Install custom cabinetry and architectural millwork on commercial and residential job sites.
· Read and work from shop drawings, plans, and cut sheets.
· Complete installations to a high standard with excellent attention to detail.
· Safely use hand tools and power tools to complete installations.
· Complete adjustments, scribing, and fitting as required.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
· Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Secondary Functions
· Assist with shop fabrication and assembly when required.
· Assist with material deliveries and loading/unloading.
To be eligible for this position you must possess the following
· 2+ years of millwork installation experience.
· Experience installing high-quality custom cabinetry and architectural millwork.
· Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
· Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
· Skilled in the safe operation of hand and power tools.
· Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
· Cabinet making or millwork shop experience considered an asset.
· Experience operating CNC machinery considered an asset.
Hourly rates will be based on skill and ability.
