About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Hospitality Software Engineer to design, build, and scale an intelligent Property Management System for modern hotel operations. This role blends software engineering expertise with hospitality technology and applied artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency, guest experience, and revenue performance. You will play a key role in creating data-driven solutions that support hotels in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end architecture for an AI-powered Property Management System that integrates with booking engines, CRMs, POS systems, and IoT devices
- Build and deploy machine learning models to optimize pricing, personalize guest experiences, forecast occupancy, and automate housekeeping or maintenance scheduling
- Collaborate with product managers, UI and UX designers, and data scientists to translate hospitality workflows into scalable, intuitive software solutions
- Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with third-party hospitality platforms including OTA channels, accounting systems, and keyless entry solutions
- Create real-time analytics dashboards that provide actionable insights into hotel performance
- Ensure system security, reliability, and compliance with data privacy and hospitality standards such as GDPR and PCI DSS
- Continuously monitor and enhance system performance, AI accuracy, and user experience through testing, feedback, and iteration
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
Experience
- Three to seven years of experience in full-stack software development, ideally within SaaS, hospitality technology, or travel platforms
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or modern frameworks such as Node.js, React, or Next.js
- Experience working with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
- Solid understanding of data modeling, microservices architecture, and SQL or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with property management systems, channel managers, or hotel operations software is an asset
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with a product-focused mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to simplify complex hospitality workflows into seamless digital experiences
Preferred Experience
- Previous work on hotel, resort, or vacation rental management software
- Experience developing predictive models for demand forecasting or dynamic pricing
- Familiarity with AI-driven chatbots or guest service automation tools
- Contributions to open-source AI or hospitality technology projects
