Eight Ounce Coffee is looking for a passionate and reliable Wholesale Relationship team member to join our team. This is a remote position that requires the successful candidate to be located in Montreal, and is focused on supporting and growing relationships with our valued wholesale customers across Quebec and the East Coast.

The candidate will report directly to the Head of Business Development.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale customers in Quebec and the East Coast
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth through regular communication and follow-ups
- Provide personalized product recommendations, conduct demos or training sessions, and troubleshoot customer challenges
- Monitor customer activity, re-engage lapsed accounts, and help drive sales in alignment with KPIs
- Represent Eight Ounce at trade shows, competitions, and industry events to build brand presence and your network
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Experience, Procurement) to share insights and align on strategy
- Participate in internal team meetings and training sessions to stay up to date on products, trends, and tools
- Support broader company initiatives by providing feedback and perspective from the field
Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate will bring a mix of industry experience, people skills, and self-direction to the role:
Required:
- Fluent in French (written and spoken)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in the coffee industry (café, retail, wholesale, or related)
- Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed for events
- Must be based in Montreal, with the ability to travel throughout Quebec and the East Coast as well as other locations as needed
- A valid Class 5 driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Must meet eligibility requirements to be able to rent a car for regional travel, and be added to our company vehicle insurance policy (this includes being at least 25 years of age and having no License restrictions)
- Strong communication skills in person, by email, and over the phone, with a natural ability to build relationships
- Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working and managing time independently
- Able to work remotely while staying engaged with a collaborative team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines while balancing travel and events
Preferred / Nice to Have:
- Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
- Background in wholesale distribution, account management, or sales
