Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in exterior sheetmetal and construction, demonstrating expertise in various systems and techniques. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The individual will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining metal roofs and cladding systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of metal systems including metal, and wall systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards.
- Supervise junior workers and assist in training new team members.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop timelines and project plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in metal roofing or a related construction field.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices and budgeting processes.
- Experience with construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam is preferred.
- Ability to supervise teams effectively while ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$41.61 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
