Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender and Server to join our team. As a Bartender/Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including tables, bar, and workstations
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Uphold hospitality standards by delivering excellent customer service throughout each guest interaction
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar area- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Skills & Experience
- Previous restaurant/bar experience
- Familiarity with POS systems such as TouchBistro POS or similar platforms
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- A positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and serving others
- Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer and wine.
Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
