Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring they look and feel their best. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a love for animals, and physical stamina to handle the demands of grooming multiple pets daily. The Pet Groomer will play a vital role in enhancing our clients' satisfaction and building lasting relationships with pet owners.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing according to client specifications and breed standards
- Assess each pet’s coat, skin, and overall health to determine appropriate grooming procedures
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by sanitizing tools and grooming stations regularly
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs and aftercare instructions
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process
- Manage appointment scheduling and ensure timely completion of grooming services
- Keep detailed records of each pet’s grooming history and preferences
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management when replenishments are needed
Experience
- Must have Previous experience in pet grooming & existing clients.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger or heavier pets safely and comfortably
- Passion for animals with a caring and gentle demeanor towards pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
