EPIC Menswear, established in 2010 as a small shop in Surrey, British Columbia has grown to be one of the high class and diverse all in one shop within the Lower Mainland. We are currently searching for a (1) Full time & (1) Part - Time Sales Associates to join our team at Highstreet Shopping Centre in Abbotsford. As a sales associate, you're an important part of our team and take pride in the organization to deliver a great shopping experience for our customers.
Qualifications:
- Strong public speaking and communication skills
- Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service
- Ability to work effectively in individual and team environments
- Minimum of 2 year experience in similar retail position
- Menswear experience is required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Applicants must be at least 17 years of age to be considered for this position
What you do in this role:
- Greet customers, respond to questions and handle merchandise
- Provide exceptional service and advice for wardrobe selections
- Listen to customer feedback and communicate with your Store Manager to identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction
- Support sales floor, fitting room, cash wrap, stock, as required
- You’re able to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and lift up to 45 lbs., with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Consistently treat all customers and employees with respect and contribute to a positive work environment
Who you are:
- A goal oriented and resilient individual
- Assist with merchandise presentation & regular housekeeping duties
- Perform operational activities such as receiving stock, processing transfers and other administrative duties
- Do your part to maintain all areas of the store, including the back room
- Identify opportunities to improve processes or other areas and share these with your manager
- Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
- Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
- Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
Pay: $18.25 per hour
