Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sloped Pitch Roofer to join our construction team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on sloped surfaces, ensuring durability and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience working on pitched roofs, familiarity with construction tools, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace roofing materials on sloped surfaces according to project specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, and caulking guns to perform roofing tasks efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and effectively
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural support as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency during projects
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Experience
- Prior construction experience with a focus on roofing or carpentry preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools and basic construction equipment
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation is highly desirable
- Experience with caulking, waterproofing, or weatherproofing techniques is a plus
- Handyman experience or general construction skills are beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights on sloped roofs
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and physical stamina are essential for success in this role
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
