Long Range Outdoors is looking for a skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys solving mechanical problems. In this role, you'll inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of recreational vehicles and equipment, including snowmobiles, side-by-sides, ATVs, outboard motors, boats, and travel trailers. The work our technicians do has a direct impact on our customers' ability to enjoy Newfoundland's trails, waters, and backcountry. Whether it's a snowmobile headed for winter adventure, a boat preparing for fishing season, or a side-by-side getting ready for the weekend.

What You’ll Do

Review work orders and work with the Service Manager to prioritize repairs
- Inspect, test, and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using specialized diagnostic equipment
- Complete repairs and component replacements to manufacturer standards
- Perform routine maintenance, including tune-ups, oil changes, and seasonal servicing
- Test equipment following repairs to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Prepare accurate repair estimates and document completed work
- Communicate service recommendations and maintenance requirements clearly

Support the team wherever needed
What We're Looking For

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to diagnose problems and identify effective repair solutions
- Experience using diagnostic tools and service equipment
- Manufacturer certifications or training considered an asset (or willingness to complete it)

Post-secondary training in a related trade, or equivalent industry experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 22–44 lbs. and perform the physical duties of the position
