Winnipeg Boldness is an Indigenous led social innovation lab based in the North End of Winnipeg, MB. Using Indigenous methods, we utilize social innovation tools with the aim of improving outcomes for children and families in this community.

THE ROLE
The Administrative Coordinator will be working in a fast-paced, emergent field of practice, and approach their work with strong attention to detail, and support the team and encourage the lab to flourish and thrive. As a member of the Winnipeg Boldness team, your responsibilities will include:
· General Administration
· Governance support
· Donor & Fundraising Administration
· Financial Administration
· Human Resources Administration
· Communication & Marketing Support
· Compliance & Record Management
· Event Administration
QUALIFICATIONS
To apply for the Administrative Coordinator position, you are required to possess the following qualifications and/or an equivalent combination of education and related experience:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· Experience with Indigenous methodologies and principles around research
· Experience in administrative work
· Practice exemplary communication skills—especially in written form—and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Administration
SKILLS & ABILITIES
· Respect diverse groups of people and understand the strengths and challenges within marginalized communities.
· Maintain a strong knowledge of computers (specifically MacOS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Work both independently, as well as collaboratively, with other staff and community members.
· Adapt to evolving responsibilities and willingness to expand capacity as the job requires.
· Learn and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment, and manage several tasks simultaneously.
· Organize information effectively and manage documents.
· Be flexible, creative, and open-minded.
· Class 5 driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle
ASSETS
The following qualifications would be assets to this position, but are not requirements:
· Experience working in the non-profit field.
· An understanding of the Point Douglas community and its strengths/challenges.
· An understanding or interest in the field of social innovation.
· Proficiency in Indigenous ways of knowledge and cultural traditions.
· Experience and skills in the field of academic research.
