Job Title: Production Helper
Location: 200 Golden Dr, Coquitlam BC
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Helper to join our pastry production team. As a key part of our operations, you will assist in the preparation, production, and packaging of high-quality pastry products. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and an understanding of safety rules and food safety standards. The role requires you to be available for full time Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients for pastry production.
- Support bakers and production staff in various stages of the production process (mixing, shaping, baking, and finishing pastries).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risk and ensure a safe workplace.
- Adhere to health and food safety standards (e.g., proper handling, storage, and sanitation).
- Assist in packaging finished products for shipment or display.
- Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and ingredients.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor or manager.
- Follow instructions from the production manager and other team members as needed.
- Ensure production targets and timelines are met with consistency and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in food production, baking, or kitchen work is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (training provided if necessary).
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods of time.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow directions accurately and maintain a clean work area.
Work Schedule:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
