Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Fence Installer / Foreman Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and installing multiple types of fencing systems, including chain link, wood privacy, acoustic/sound barrier, and decorative metal fences. Applicants should have strong woodworking and construction skills, take pride in quality workmanship, and be looking for long-term growth within a company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with job site setup and cleanup.
- Set posts and help build various types of fences.
- Load and unload materials and tools
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist the foreman with daily tasks as needed.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 Year Experience in woodworking and/or fence building
- Valid G Driver’s License (required)
- D License is an asset
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Able to lift minimum 50lbs
- Knowledge of health and safety practices
- Reliable transportation to/from shop in Schomberg
- Reliable, motivated and team player
Schedule, Pay & Benefits
- Monday to Friday- 6am to 4pm
- Starting at $25/hour (based on experience) with opportunities for increase based on performance.
