Job Summary
We are seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating an excavator primarily. Preference given to operators proficient on other equipment (dozer, skid steer and grader). Should be able to finish grade on a hoe and dig a safe trench efficiently, including egress.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain equipment
- Perform tasks such as digging, loading, and moving materials
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment
- Assist in building and construction activities as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial driving and operating heavy equipment
- Proficiency in excavations, trenching and backfill operation
- Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus
- Ability to operate equipment to dig, build, and bulldoze effectively
- Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $30.00-$46.00 per hour
