Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and special treatments.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and products.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations.
- Upsell retail products by educating clients on hair care solutions that meet their needs.
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments.
- Foster a friendly and professional atmosphere to ensure a positive client experience.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon industry best practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in hair styling with a valid cosmetology or barber license.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
- Strong communication skills for effective consultation and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon environment.
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally during client interactions.
- Competence in managing front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling and retail sales.

Pay: $17.20-$47.51 per hour
