The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms and hotel common areas while adhering to established standards. Additional duties may be assigned by Management as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including changing bed linens, cleaning and restocking bathrooms, and ensuring guest rooms are properly maintained.
- Follow the step-by-step room cleaning process as outlined by the Department Supervisor.
- Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues or damages and promptly report them to the Assistant Housekeeper.
- Assist in the Laundry Department as required.
- Maintain and properly handle assigned linens and cleaning equipment.
- Adhere to Huntingdon Hotel & Suites’ standards and procedures.
- Report directly to the Executive Housekeeper and follow detailed instructions.
- Comply with hotel policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Communicate effectively with the Front Desk and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional relationships with colleagues and guests.
- Fulfill guest amenity requests as directed by the Front Desk or Department Supervisor.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks efficiently within the allotted time.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow procedures while working quickly.
- Professional discretion to ensure guest privacy and comfort.
