Day in the Life
As a BBQ Cleaning and Repair Technician at Grill Hero Edmonton, you’ll take on a role that combines technical expertise with sales responsibilities. You’ll perform cleaning and repair services with an emphasis on quality, safety and customer satisfaction. Your ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and ensure compliance with operational standards will play a key role in your success. This position offers opportunities to work independently, lead by example, foster a culture of growth, and make a lasting impact.

What We Expect:
Duties
- Perform cleaning, repair, and touch-up services for barbecues, ovens, and related equipment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by exceeding customer expectations, resolving problems, and building trust.
- Identifying opportunities to sell additional services, and rebook clients for future appointments.
- Work closely with Lead Service Technicians to learn technical skills, sales techniques and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Follow all company guidelines, safety procedures, and service protocols.
- Manage tools, supplies, and equipment to ensure readiness and functionality.
You're Great At:
- Delivering excellent service while maintaining high safety standards.
- Able to assess and diagnose issues with BBQs and smokers during cleaning, and perform the necessary repairs to ensure safe, proper operation.
- Building strong relationships with customers through professionalism and empathy.
- Identifying opportunities to suggestively upsell and encouraging rebooking to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Adapting to dynamic situations with a problem-solving mindset.
- Demonstrating commitment to following company standards and processes.
- Dealing with ambiguity

- Able to perform manual and repetitive physical tasks
- Comfortable with power tools
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Customer service
- 1+ year of technical experience and or aptitude is an asset but not required (training provided).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to follow core processes and procedures.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Police Criminal Record Check required

- Starting at $20
- Performance bonuses and incentives

- Mileage incurred during operations is compensated on top of hourly pay
